Catalogue to accompany an important retrospective, one of a number of exhibitions in the late 1980s and early 1990s, culminating with the Japanese Pavilion at the 1993 Venice Biennale, that brought Kusama back to the international attention that has only grown to this day. A beautiful production; copies were bound in a number of jewel-toned felts. Most likely produced in small numbers and not distributed internationally, the book is uncommon.
